iMore is reporting that the next iPhone will be launching in the Fall of this year. They say it will be LTE compatible, which is pretty much a given considering the new iPad has LTE capabilities, and it will have the same 3.5-inch screen that the current iPhone has. This contradicts rumors in the past saying the new iPhone will have a 4-inch edge to edge screen.
So to sum up, iPhone 5,1 is on track for:
- Similar if not same sized screen (currently 3.5-inch but not set in stone)
- 4G LTE radio
- New “micro dock” connector
- Fall/October 2012 release
They have also reported that they think the next iPhone will include a mini dock connector to help slim down the iPhone itself. Questionable claim.
